This season, the DFS giant will introduce a massive $100 Million Golden Ticket Giveaway, allowing players the opportunity to claim a share of $100 million via the NFL Survivor Pool.

DraftKings contest is free, accessible everywhere
Simply signing into or creating an account and reserving an entry in the $1 Million NFL Survivor Pool gains players access to the Golden Ticket Giveaway.
Even better, the pool is not a paid entry, meaning it is available even in states without legalized sports betting.
DraftKings will post survivor picks for Week One starting Sept. 8, two days ahead of the season opener. The $1 million pool prize could go to a single champion or be split among multiple winners.
Once a user reserves an entry into the $1 million survivor pool, they can claim a free reward that ranges in value from $5 to $25,000. They can then opt into the Golden Ticket Giveaway sweepstakes, in which one winner is guaranteed $1 million. That drawing is scheduled for Sept. 13.

The NFL Survivor Pool requires users to designate one team they believe will win that week. The pick must be submitted before 1 p.m. EST each Sunday during the regular season for any Sunday and Monday games. Thursday picks must be selected before the game’s kickoff.

If the chosen team indeed wins that week, the user survives and has the opportunity to play again the next week. With each week, though, the available teams from which to choose dwindles.
For example, if a user picks the Chiefs to win the opener, he or she cannot use the Chiefs again for the rest of the season.
